Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Responsible for gathering advanced data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The Cardiovascular Outcomes Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, deployment, and support of the organization’s cardiology quality review processes and systems. The Cardiovascular Outcomes Coordinator provides direction and support as a member of the cardiovascular team to maximize quality of care to all patients within the organization. The Cardiovascular Outcomes Coordinator supports both the clinical staff and the medical staff in the review, collection and reporting of quality and performance improvement data throughout the organization.
Responsible for coordinating activities related to American College of Cardiology Accreditation for Chest Pain, Heart Center of Excellence and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories including multidisciplinary team meetings, supply chain coordination, policy and procedure maintenance, education for staff, patient satisfaction and safety, and other issues related to compliance with guidelines and best practices. The Cardiovascular Outcomes Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining accreditation requirements and the delegation of duties to ensure compliance with these guidelines.
