Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Responsible for gathering advanced data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive and remote.

    DESCRIPTION

    Involves design, building, testing, and implementation of the clinical components of the Epic Research Module, including Research Study creation, Research Coordinator workflows, and Billing-integrated workflows. Provides support to clinical users through knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards, when adapting software to meet their needs. Works with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols. Prepares detailed specs encompassing clinical processes, information flow, risk and impact analysis. May provide customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance. As a technical leader in clinical applications, applies advanced professional concepts and extensive industry knowledge to lead and/or work on medium to large projects of broad scope and complexity. May be recognized expert of an area of focus of business in clinical applications.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training i.e. Epic analyst, clinical research/study coordinator, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training ie. Epic analyst, clinical research/study coordinator.

    • Must obtain certification in primary EMR module(s) within four (4) months of initial hire.

    • Must maintain current certification for primary EMR module(s) as a condition of employment.

    • Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • EPIC Certified in Research Clinical.

    • EPIC Certified in EpicCare Ambulatory.

    • EPIC Certified in Beacon.

    • Experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation.

    SPECIAL CONDITIONS
    • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

    • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

    Pay Transparency Act

    Annual Full Pay Range: $101,200 - $192,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

    Hourly Equivalent: $48.47 - $92.05

    Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
