Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Responsible for gathering advanced data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Clinical Data Abstractor - Quality Outcomes (Remote) for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $44.25 – $66.37. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

Responsible for abstracting and/or auditing a large volume of clinical case records, data, or other information within established deadlines in support of PeaceHealth's quality assessment and performance improvement program and compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Applies clinical training, knowledge and clinical experience in the review of moderate to highly complex clinical information from individual patient records and other sources to abstract data elements for clinical registries and to ensure compliance with standards of care, policies and procedures, regulations or accreditation requirements. Produce reports addressing variances from established standards, and identify significant data trends, outlier values or unusual data for additional review by physicians, clinical value improvement staff and/or leadership. Responsible for the integrity of the reported data.
