Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Laboratory Services Director will be responsible for oversight of all laboratory services within this acute care facility. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer COO, the Laboratory Director will provide clinical management of the laboratory, ensuring all employees follow quality and infection control policies, and guidelines in accordance with The Joint Commission, CLIA, OSHA, and CAP. The Laboratory Director will demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivating their team to deliver quick lab test turn-around times in order to ultimately ensure high quality patient care outcomes.

    REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology, active Medical Technologist (MT) ASCP Certification, 3 years of progressive laboratory leadership experience within the acute care setting.
