Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or eligible for reciprocity).
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting.
    • Proven track record of successful management, leadership, and team-building skills.
    • Strong knowledge of progressive care nursing practices, regulations, and standards.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
