Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     In this role, you will build, grow, and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide best-in-class support. You will lead a team of innovative and dedicated collaborators while working with smart, engaged customers who appreciate attention to detail and quick thinking. You will:

    • Serve as point of contact for customers, providing proactive updates on deliverable status
    • Lead development of external and internal communications, including press releases, key messages, website content, patient engagement content, video scripts, social media content, sponsored content and presentations for meetings, summits, planning, etc.
    • Manage project timelines and action plans, delegating work and supporting team operations
    • Support communications readiness/issues management/scenario planning

    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 6 years’ experience in a professional environment within the healthcare and/or communications industry
    • Strong project management skills including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning
    • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment, meeting internal and external deadlines

    Desired Requirements:

    • Agency experience
    • Understanding of FDA/regulatory agencies approval process and experience with scenario planning
    • Experience in media relations, data communications, disease state awareness campaigns and corporate communications
    • An understanding of social media processes/tools/approach/regulations, corporate review processes, healthcare regulations/pharma industry and issues management

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $79,800 to $100,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
