Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Hospital Emergency Services Director will join a Level 2 Trauma center in the Western region of Nebraska. This 150 Bed medical center is specifically known for its impressive trauma program and has been awarded for its excellence in quality compliance, stroke care and cardiovascular rehabilitation.

    The Hospital Emergency Services Directorwill report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will help lead an amazing team of Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses. Supported directly by several Charge Nurses and a Clinical Educator, the Nurse Director will play a vital role in leading clinical and administrative operations for the department.

    TheHospital Emergency Services Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and innovative changes to this busy department. The Nurse Director will provide expert guidance to all faculty in regards to Emergency Services and Emergency Preparedness. The Emergency Nurse Director will be responsible for effectively collaborating with other department Directors and Nurse Managers as they create an environment that puts high quality patient care at the forefront of their mission. The Nurse Director will inspire a culture of respect, diligence and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to gain more experience running a reputable department by overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing policy changes and monitoring the department’s budget.
