Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. Reporting to the AVP Clinical Operations and Nursing, the Director Nursing Operations will lead the clinical and administrative nursing operations for multiple outpatient medical oncology and surgical oncology clinics. The Director Nursing Operations will oversee a team of 4 direct reports made up of RN Managers and Practice Managers. This position is responsible for setting the overall vision and strategic direction of the practice, makes important financial decisions regarding programs and services, partners with executive leaders within the organization, and promotes an atmosphere of clinical excellence.
