Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Joining the team at a 300 bed short-term acute care hospital and designated Trauma Center, the Director of Telemedicine Services will contribute to an advanced academic medical center offering a spectrum of specialized medical services, including 24/7 Emergency Care, Cardiovascular Services, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Maternal Child Healthcare, and Primary Care Services. Renowned as an award-winning non-profit community hospital, it is widely acknowledged for delivering exceptional care to patients in the local communities and beyond.

    Directly reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Clinic Services, the Director of Telemedicine Services will assume responsibility for overseeing and directing the virtual health services program across the entire health system. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, strategic planning, and human resources, ensuring the efficient operation of the program and the delivery of high-quality services to patients and their families.

    Requirements for this role include a Master’s Degree, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field. A minimum of five years of progressive acute care leadership experience is essential, along with previous expertise in telehealth, telemedicine, and virtual health services.

    Nice to have: Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS).

    This role necessitates full-time, in-person presence at the hospital.
