Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     What would this role do? 

    As a Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) with 360 Behavioral Health, you use and build upon the expertise you’ve developed as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). At this point in your professional journey, you join our clinical leadership team and you “own” your clinical site and take responsibility for the site’s entire caseload.

    Working closely and under the direction of the Senior Director of Clinical Services, you support your Clinical Supervisors, Behavior Interventionists and others as they deliver care to our clients. You consult with your team on best practices and company standards, you provide training in ABA-based therapy tools, and you drive outreach and other initiatives with referral sources and the community at large to support new client referrals and growth for your location.

    Role Responsibilities  

    • Live the company’s business theory of Customer Focus, Total Participation, Continuous Improvement, Leadership, and Mutual Learning.
    • Ensure that employees under your supervision are meeting their billable services by:
    • Ensuring that 95% of clinical supervision services are provided on monthly basis.
    • Ensuring that 85% of clinical direct services are provided on monthly basis.
    • Ensure that the region assigned provides 85% of services.
    • Provide training across different offices.
    • Submit all required reports on time.
    • Assist with the development and establishment of the clinical services in the region.
    • Provide BCBA supervision.
    • Ensure that the company’s “Zero Tolerance Policy” is understood, implemented and reinforced in the region.
    • Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance is understood, implemented and reinforced in the region.
    • Establish Clinical Services in the area.
    • Responsible for ongoing staff training and BCBA supervision.
    • Provide clinical consultation including behavior plans and programming to clinical staff.
    • Provide parent training as need it and approved.
    • Provide written program summaries and progress reports for each individual case prior to deadlines indicated by the authorization.
    • Overlap and train clinical staff in accordance with the company Performance Evaluation System to ensure quality, consistency and continuity of services being provided.
    • Coordinate monthly staff and professional development meetings as indicated.
    • Provide some direct services if need be in order to supervise more effectively.
    • Provide feedback to Supervisor regarding instructors on each case.
    • Conduct assessments as assigned by the Supervisor.
    • Ensure that all hours are being provided to the families with few or no cancellations.
    • Communicate parental concerns and needs immediately to the Supervisor.
    • Supervise and monitor assessments assigned from intake to completion.
    • Conduct Report Review/Revisions Provide case consultation to PC’s as needed
    • Attend Family Clinical Meetings as needed.
    • Participate in planning and development of social groups and center base services.
    • Direct Case Supervision
    • Accountable for the operation of the office.
    • Complete other duties as assigned and approved by the SDOC.
    • Maintain telephone contact and a reliable method to record scheduled. appointments and return phone calls within 12 hours.
    • Maintain reliable transportation and current liability insurance for the vehicle.
    • Stand, sit, twist, kneel, bend-over, crouch down, walk, & sit/play on floor for extended periods of time as well as lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance from another adult.

    Must Haves  

    • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Special Education and BCBA Credential.
    • Excellent Clinical & Leadership skills.
    • 5 years’ clinical experience including:
    • Direct service with individuals with varying diagnoses, diverse levels of functioning, and a broad range of ages.
    • Individual client program development across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings (i.e., home, school, community).
    • Report writing.
    • Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies.
    • 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Supervisor or similar role including:
    • Formal staff training including didactic and in-vivo.
    • Formal performance evaluation of more junior staff.
    • Evaluation of more junior staff with respect to clinical programming, administrative tasks (e.g., report writing, timesheet submission, etc.), direct therapy, and parent training skills.
    • Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs.
    • Familiarity with funding provider standards and guidelines.
    • Mastery of empirical evidence for all service types.
    • Self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, excellent time management skills & skills to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Professional demeanor, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability serving culturally and linguistically diverse families in low and high SES areas.
    • Ability to maintain all applicable personal certifications, licenses, professional insurances, TB clearance, etc. on an on-going basis.
    • Ability to name the company as certificate holder of the Professional Liability Insurance.
    • Comfortable working in homes (studio apt, housing project, etc.) of families with limited resources.
    • Ability to maintain professional boundaries, professional composure, work well under pressure and politely interact with individuals and families who may be uncooperative or aloof.
    • Demonstrates effective communication skills to interact with clients, family members, and agency’s staff.
