Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • A wonderful new opportunity has become available for an Oncology Director at an acute care hospital outside of Kirtland, New Mexico. This hospital specifically has 240 patient beds, as well as a highly recognized Level III Trauma Center providing healthcare for the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. 

    The Director of Oncology will carry much responsibility in the Cancer Treatment Center including but not limited to:

    • Overseeing staff members while counseling and disciplining within the Cancer Center
    • Establish and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
    • Maintain fiscal responsibilities including capital, non-labor / labor expenses, etc.
    • Have a working relationship with the on-site Oncologist while engaging in strategic planning

    There are a few hard requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. One must have at least 5 years of experience in a radiation management / supervisor position as well as be registered through the AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) as a certified Radiation Therapist. This facility is also requiring a Bachelors degree for the Oncology Director.
