Job Title: Director of Surgical Services

Location: Northeastern Louisiana

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of 50 FTEs, including the Manager of SPD and their dedicated team.
• Oversee the operations of 9 primary ORs and 1 hybrid, facilitating an impressive 5500 surgeries annually.
• Champion the growth and success of our surgical services, with a focus on Orthopedic, General, and Bariatric surgeries.
• Collaborate with 2 existing robots in the surgical arsenal, with a third one on the horizon.
• Coordinate with 3-4 service line leads to ensure streamlined and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in a surgical services setting.
• Flexibility and adaptability are crucial; we need someone who is not rigid but thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Political savvy is a must; the ability to work alongside leaders and build strong relationships is essential.
• Adept at managing change and driving continuous improvement in surgical operations.
