Clinical Nurse Director Oversight:

There are currently 70 employees that report to this position: 53 from the Med/Surg floor, and 17 more that report from the Rehab Nursing Unit (RNU). - The position is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator for the department. - 31 Beds on Med/Surg and an additional 10 more in the RNU; On Med/Surg there are 28 private rooms and one 3-bed wardroom. 1 room is used for End-of-Life Care

A 150-bed acute care hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Surgical Nurse Director to lead the Medical Surgical nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care. As a part of the MedSurg nursing team, the Clinical Nurse Director will play a pivotal role in the hospital’s mission to make communities healthier and contribute to a vision of creating healthcare environments where people choose to receive care, physicians and providers want to practice, and employees want to work.

The RN Director for Inpatient Medical Surgical will be responsible for:
