Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Nurse Director Women’s Services NICU will supervise nursing practices and patient-centered care within expansive and dynamic service lines, encompassing Labor and Delivery, Labor and Delivery Operating Room, Antepartum, Postpartum, and a high-acuity NICU. The Maternity Services NICU Director will uphold standards for patient care excellence and guide the establishment of organizational goals and objectives in partnership with medical, administrative, and patient services leadership.

    The Maternity Services NICU Director will report to the CNO and VP of Patient Care Services. They will have support of Labor and Delivery/ Postpartum and NICU nurse managers, assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and other nursing or departmental staff.

    The ideal Nurse Director Women's Services NICU will possess a master's degree in Nursing or a related discipline as well as a minimum of 8 years' progressive leadership experience in an acute care healthcare environment.
