CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     About the Position

    AKBH is recruiting a manager to join our leadership team. This manager would support both an outpatient clinic services and a drop-in center for adults who have acute mental health needs and require ongoing support.

    What You’ll Do

    • Supervise a multi-disciplinary team of clinical staff and peer support specialists
    • Ensure staffing needs are met and assist HR with recruiting staff for the team
    • Manage the daily functions of the team by creating schedules, coordinating services, and communicating ongoing coordination of treatment
    • Develop clinical staff by displaying effective leadership abilities and acting as a role model
    • Facilitate meetings and hands-on training for the team and encourage professional development
    • Monitor that all State of Alaska Residential Licensing requirements are being met
    • Develop and implement program improvements and strategic plan initiatives
    • Support the provision of behavioral health services using evidenced-based practice
    • Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services

    • Full-Time, Non-exempt
    • Pay Range is $85,637 to $110,828 depending on experience plus eligibility for an annual incentive up to $39,500 in incentive with the average being $15,100

    What We Need from You

    • Master’s degree in mental health or related field.
    • Professional license, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPA or Clinical Psychologist license. Preferred, Board Approval (or credential) to supervise for LPC and/or LCSW licensees.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting serving persons in relevant target population(s).
