CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Working closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, the Surgical Services Manager will be well supported by an experienced staff of Nurses and Technicians leading the Surgical Services departments throughout the Medical Center.     This Surgical Services Manager will serve a Full-Service Perioperative Department in a Medical Center that boasts a Level IV Trauma Center, a range of Specialty Clinics, a Radiology Department as well as a full-range of ancillary services. They are also home to a 24/7 AirLife Helicopter Base. 

    Leading the Surgery Department, the Surgical Services Manager will assure nursing practices are consistent with their Standards of Care and stay compliant with Regulatory and Accrediting Agencies. They will provide leadership and mentorship to their staff and support working relationships throughout the facility. The Surgical Services Manager will be responsible for creating and monitoring department budgets and strategic goals.
