CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. -Responsible for the overall management and supervision of the outpatient department and the inpatient clinical team, including the supervisors of each department.
-Develops, implements and directs all clinical programs to ensure the most up to date evidenced-based programming is being utilized and delivered with fidelity.
-Prepares the inpatient and outpatient supervisor’s performance evaluations in accordance with the personnel policies.
-Develops and assigns work schedules, including office hours and work sites to provide the best service, maximum coverage and utilization of staff.
-Approves and assigns requests for inpatient and outpatient supervisor’s vacation, compensatory time and approves requests for compensatory time. Ensures that time off requests approvals allow for adequate coverage of an office or program.
-Conducts employment interviews, completes orientation, develops a training plan and disciplines in accordance to Agency and DDAP requirements.
-Plans, develops, and implements all therapeutic activities and programs within the Agency.
-Coordinates with all referral sources, across all clinical programs, to provide consistent customer service to these stakeholders.
-Works collaboratively within the Agency across all programs to ensure that all programs are working together in harmony to meet the needs of the individuals we serve.
-Ensures that all systems of care delivery within the Agency is seamless and efficient.
-Attends all clinical staff meetings to ensure evidence-based programming is being delivered to fidelity and to direct the clinical programming within the Agency.
-Assists the deputy director with periodic file review to ensure all service delivery is in compliance with all standards.
-Responsible for the implementation of treatment plans, data entry into the WITS system, admissions, updates and discharges are all being performed uniformly by all clinical staff.
-Provides clinical support, technical assistance and individual guidance the department supervisors.
-Prepares and submits clinical data reports as needed to the director, oversight entities and the board of directors.
-Continually evaluates the quality and efficiency of all clinical programming. This includes maximizing the efficient use of staff resources, productivity monitoring of all clinical and case management staff, as well as census monitoring of our inpatient facility.
-Designs the treatment format to meet all licensing and MCO standards.
-Monitors and ensures the Agency warm hand-off process is working efficiently, which includes assisting in the 24 hour call rotation for crisis and warm hand-off.
-Attends monthly Board and management meetings and presents inpatient and outpatient quarterly reports.
-Meets regularly with the Medical Director for all Agency staffing needs.
-Attends other stakeholder meetings as an ADAS representative and reports the outcome of all attended meetings to the Executive Director.
