Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. This Quality Management Nurse Manager will have administrative oversite of the development and implementation of the hospital’s quality and performance improvement program. The Nurse Manager of Quality Management will assist in developing metrics in quality to ensure that all policies and procedures are in compliance to maintain a high-level of patient care. This experienced individual will demonstrate their expertise in quality assurance, risk management, performance improvement, and patient-relationship development.
Further responsibilities in this role include the facilitation of corrective action, patient assessment, and resolution of family/visitor issues as well as maintenance of open communication with other department leaders. A CPHQ certified, California Registered Nurse with experience in healthcare administration, case management, utilization review, patient safety, or quality management in the acute care setting will make for quick interviews!
