CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. A Northern California Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to run their busy Emergency Department.
This 200 plus bed non-profit medical center has one of the busiest emergency departments in the area. The ED Manager will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of a Department, which sees 40,000 patients annually.
The Emergency Nurse Manager will oversee a 30-bed unit, and will report directly to the Director of Emergency Services and will be supported by nurse supervisors, charge nurses and an Emergency Nurse Educator, and will be responsible for over 75 FTE’s.
The Emergency Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Infection control committee as well as the Quality Coordinator to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction. The Emergency Services Nurse Manager will be responsible supervision of the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies and for providing other chronic medical problems, minor injuries or illness.
The medical center sees patients of high acuity known for their: stroke center, chest pain center, Cerner System and as a Stemi Receiving center. The medical centers advanced surgical center offers: The Da Vinci Surgical System, Single Incision laparoscopic surgery, Cyberknife, MAKOplasty and does over 10,000 annual procedures.
