Household Manager
  • Hiring Manager
  • Phoenix, AZ FULL_TIME
  • We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our household as a Household Manager. The ideal candidate will take charge of various tasks related to the care of our little one, manage household items efficiently, and handle special projects with attention to detail. We need someone who can work at least hours a week, 4 hours on Monday and Wednesday 10am - 2pm at minimum, as this is when our various other vendors and contractors come to the house.

    A little about us:
My husband and I own a local small business and work together during the week. We have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter who goes to pre-school Monday to through Friday. We have three dogs, of various ages and sizes so you must be a dog person. We're looking for the right person to support us with household items so that when we are home we can enjoy our family time together.

Tasks pertaining to our little one:
    • Prepare and cook snacks, lunches, and lunch boxes for our daughter to take to school.
    • Wash her laundry, and ensure everything is organized in her room.
    • General organization of toys, clothes, etc.

    Household items:
    • Manage and interact with various contractors and vendors, including landscapers, housekeepers, exterminators, pool service, etc. We have 3 wonderful dogs that although they are friendly, most of our contractors request that we put away the dogs while they are at the house. In addition, the dogs don't like the sound of the mowers, blowers, etc. so it's best for them and the contractors.
    • Wash, fold, and hang up family laundry weekly, including kitchen towels and all bedroom sheets.
    • Bi-weekly washing and changing of all bed linens.
    • Empty trash and recyclables, as needed.
    • Clean out the fridge, as needed.
    • Perform weekly family meal prep; groceries and recipes will be provided, or a grocery list will be provided for pickup.
    • Clean dishes, load/unload the dishwasher, and maintain the general organization of the kitchen.
    • Maintain dog water bowls.
    • Perform light housekeeping and organizing tasks.

    Special projects:
    • Sort and organize toys.
    • Sort and organize guest closets.
    • As needed, for various holidays, unpack, decorate and then re-pack household decorations. We regularly decorate for Valentine's, St. Patty's, Spring, Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.

    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in household management or a related field.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to handle responsibilities related to child care.
    • Strong communication skills for interaction with vendors.
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Flexibility to manage special projects efficiently.

    Benefits:
    • Competitive salary.
    • A supportive and family-friendly work environment.
