The Nurse Manager will be aided by Surgical Services Supervisors and CNOR Charge Nurses on the unit. This Leader will also work alongside amazing Medical Professionals.

The Surgical Services Department is made up of inpatient and outpatient cases. The services range from Obstetric/Gynecology to Urology and Podiatry, and everything in between. In this busy department there are roughly 2,000 procedures annually. The Surgical Services Nursing Manager will work with skilled Registered Nurses, techs, and CNAs, as well as enthusiastic Surgeons and Medical Doctors.

The Surgical Services Nursing Manager oversees the department in staffing, professional development, and adherence to protocols. This Leader will work closely to ensure quality measures are met and emergencies are handled efficiently and effectively. When a new employee is hired, the Manager trains and advises the staff member. This person also encourages professional development.
