In this role, the Radiology Nurse Manager will report directly to the Administrative Director of Ancillary Services. They will work collaboratively with an Assistant Nurse Manager and lead a team of highly skilled and experienced RNs and Radiology technicians.Supported by this dedicated team, the Radiology Nurse Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the radiology department. Their responsibilities will encompass overseeing patient care, managing staff schedules, implementing best practices, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Radiology Nurse Manager will contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care delivery and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Their leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care within the department.

The Manager will be responsible for serving as a role model, initiator in problem-solving, decision-making processes, delegating, and communicating information to the nursing staff. The Nurse Manager will develop clear performance expectations and resolve performance problems. In addition to these aspects, the Manager will also help develop and maintain the departmental budget, as well as regulatory compliance.
