CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER jobs in Tampa, FL

About Us:

• Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in the inpatient and surgical units
• Ensures adherence to procedure and schedule.
• Supervises the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Staffing and training of employees
• May oversee pre- and post-operative care of patients
• Order all supplies for OR.
• Communicate with surgeons about supplies needed for surgeries.
• Compare prices of OR supplies between suppliers.
• Keep updated inventory of the OR supplies.
• Oversees positions in the OR to make sure that they are being done correctly (PACU, sterilization of instruments, Scrub Tech).
• Oversees and manages OR staff and acts as first point of contact.
• Circulate in the OR, during surgeries.
• Perform/ensure quality control tests and cleaning is being done and logged correctly.
• Notify OR team of cut time and amount of cases scheduled.
• Make changes to surgical source, as needed.
• Communicate with company reps when large equipment malfunctions in the OR.
• Assist with room turnover between surgeries. Ensures that backup staff has been trained and is notified when needed.
• Attends management meetings and other misc. meetings (i.e. Investigator Meetings, Initiation Meetings, various training sessions, etc.), as assigned.
• Provides coverage for other Project Managers/Assistant Project Managers, as needed.
• Performs other duties, as assigned by CTM/Clinical Director
