Clinical Programmer evaluates, develops, and maintains clinical database and analyzes clinical data. Codes, tests and documents databases. Being a Clinical Programmer performs data validation and develops algorithms for data management, typically using SAS programming language. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Programmer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinical Programmer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Performs difficult technical and physical work supervising patrons participating in swimming lessons. Supervising and instructing swim lessons; Performs duties of lifeguard to watch over the swim lesson/practice; Assures the safety of patrons of all ages; Instructs patrons as relates to aquatics center rules, regulations, and procedures; Ensures the equipment use for swim club is put up daily; Makes sure the area used is kept clean at all times; Prepares written and oral reports and performs related tasks as required.
Hours: Monday - Friday; first shift hours vary.
To compete in the selection process: Complete understanding and ability to follow written and verbal policies and instruction; Knowledge of the practices, methods, and policies used in municipal aquatic center operations; Knowledge of state and local regulations relating to swimming pools; Ability to direct and supervise patrons of all ages; and Ability to establish and maintain working relationship. Special Requirements: Advanced swimming lesson instructor and/or some form of swim team coach background preferred. CPR, AED, and First Aid certified required. Lifeguard certification strongly preferred.
