Essential duties & responsibilities:- Program and operate CNC machines
- Program complex geometry using G code and CAM software. 3 axis
- Interpret complex mechanical blueprints and 3D CAD models for manufacturing specifications
- Utilize your 3D CAD expertise to create or modify CNC programs for the production of parts.
- Build, fabricate, and/or repair manufactured parts from verbal instructions, blueprints and/or working drawings
- Use and operate a variety of hand tools, and electrical and mechanical equipment
- Utilize various forms of precision inspection equipment (i.e. comparators, micrometers, calipers, gauging, etc.)
- Perform in-process inspection of manufactured parts/assemblies
- Repair, clean, adjust and/or perform preventive maintenance on equipment, tools, or machinery, etc.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification (Apprenticeship) or specialized trainings preferred
- 3 years of direct related machine programming/operation experience
- 2 years of direct experience programming/operating
- Proven experience as a 3-Axis CNC Operator, with expertise in setting up and
- operating CNC machines.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for program
- development.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical
- specifications.
- Knowledge of various materials, tools, and machining processes.
- Experienced with principles, theories, and practices of machining Plastics
