A hospital in Alabama is actively seeking a Nurse Director Cath Lab to join their growing team.
Part of a national health system, the Nurse Director of Cath Lab will work at a 200 bed community hospital, located in Alabama. This hospital is known for providing compassionate care to patients across an array of service lines from their emergency department and advanced surgical team to women services, in-house laboratory, and outpatient imaging centers. In addition to being a full-service acute care hospital, this facility is also known for their Accredited Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center. This hospital was recognized by the American Heart Association, receiving The Guidelines®- Heart Failure Gold Quality Achievement Award 2023 and AFIB Gold Quality Achievement Award 2023.
The Nurse Director Cath Lab will lead a team across three departments, including the Cardiovascular Lab, Cardiac-Cath Lab, and Electrophysiology. This director will be supported by a Manager and Lead Teach, along with a specialized team of registered nurses and techs. The Nurse Director Cath Lab will be a visible leader with up-to-date clinical skills should they need to step in and support their team. The Nurse Director Cath Lab will also have administrative responsibilities including strategic planning, updating policy procedures, preparing for upcoming accreditation and surveys, managing the budget and supply ordering, along with department staffing, evaluations, and mentoring.
The Nurse Director Cath Lab should be a Registered Nurse RN with a clinical background working in a Cath Lab, along with prior management experience.
