Clinical Research Associate jobs in Madison, WI

• Collaborate with Clinical Research Nurses and Clinical Research Coordinators to oversee Phase I Clinical Trials.
• Perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings accurately.
• Prepare and accurately document ECGs/Holters.
• Collect and process biological samples as outlined in the protocol and ensure proper distribution.
• Monitor meals to ensure compliance with dietary requirements for research participants.
• Assist in preparing rooms and medical equipment.
• Support screening procedures as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working and study environment.
• Cultivate respectful relationships with study participants.
• Record all research data obtained or observed accurately.
• Assist with Quality Control of source documents and case report forms.
• Maintain a foundational understanding of current regulatory requirements.
• Attend all required meetings as appropriate.
• Provide assistance with study procedures as needed.
• Keep accurate records of all tasks undertaken.
• Possess skills to perform all study tasks as required.
• Prioritize participant safety and dignity at all times.
• Handle participant complaints efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality of clients and participants.
• Respond promptly to client and team inquiries.
• Take responsibility for the quality and standard of own work.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma, CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT or BS Degree in Science/Healthcare
• 2 years of science, healthcare, or research background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
