Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (entry-level position, 0-1. year experience in Clinical Research preferred)
Duties:
Plan, execute, and assure quality of assigned clinical trials
Perform the Informed Consent Discussion
Complete and/or assist with assigned protocol procedures, chart preparation and recording; completed case report forms; conduct medical histories, and vital signs.
Schedule protocol procedures and visits
Assist in participant recruitment
Assist in data entry
Assist monitors/auditors with data reconciliation
Assist in organizing and maintain lab storage, samples, and specimens
Assist with the collection and packaging of biological samples
Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed
Comply with all study procedures and processes
Requirements
Experience:
Certificate, diploma, or associate’s degree in Medical, Research, or Laboratory Assisting
Two (2) years’ experience as a Medical, Research, or Laboratory Assistant or relevant experience in a laboratory environment
Able to perform vital signs and ECG’s
Able to draw blood (preferred)
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Good interpersonal skills and communication
Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
