Responsibilities:

As the Hospital Director of Infection Control, you will be at the forefront of a mission to provide safe, high-quality healthcare. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating our Infection Prevention Plan & Program.
• Surveillance and reporting of nosocomial infections, including investigations and microbiological monitoring.
• Developing policies and ensuring adherence to best practices for preventing hospital-acquired infections.
• Collecting, reviewing, and submitting data to fulfill infection reporting requirements.
• Analyzing healthcare-associated infection data and coordinating data analysis.
• Participating in educational and in-service programs, performing infection prevention consults, and maintaining leadership roles.
• Serving as a liaison with relevant healthcare organizations and authorities.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Infection Prevention and Control in an acute care hospital setting (3-5 years preferred).
• Certification by the Infection Control and Epidemiology Board in Infection Control (CIC) or the ability to obtain certification within 3 years of hire.
• Previous hospital leadership experience in said specialty area, Manager level or above (2 years)
