Clinical Research Manager manages the clinical monitoring process and the administration of clinical trials. Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Being a Clinical Research Manager oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations. Helps with the development and implementation of clinical processes, procedures, and programs. Additionally, Clinical Research Manager may require a master's degree in nursing. May require ACRP or SOCRA Clinical Research Professional exam completion. Typically reports to a director. The Clinical Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Research Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Advanced Discovery Research (ADR) is a clinical research site that is focused primarily on conducting industry-sponsored trials involving new drugs and devices for treatment of psychiatric disorders and other illnesses. The company is seeking a Clinical Research Rater. As part of this dynamic team, Clinical Research Rater is responsible for performing various clinical and neurocognitive test evaluations and interview/ratings on study participants specific to the study protocol. You will be a member of an expert research team and must have experience evaluating a wide range of psychiatric patients using various diagnostic and symptom rating scales.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Perform interview/ratings on study participants to determine current levels of functioning and to create a clinical impression of the study subject’s current symptomatology throughout the duration of the study.
    • Perform diagnostic evaluations, cognitive evaluations, and other psychological assessments as defined in study protocols, including Primary Outcome measure.
    • Participate in ongoing training and certifications related to protocols, scales, and other rater-related responUtilize interpersonal and clinical skills to assist in appropriate management of study participants across multiple therapeutic areas within neuroscience.
    • Reports potential AEs to Principal Investigator.
    • Communicates potential dose changes to Principal Investigator responsibilities
    • Follow Sponsor (protocol-specific) requirements and applicable internal SOPs
    • Provide in-service training and other education-related activities to staff
    • Assists management in maintaining a positive, motivated work environment.
    • Assist the research team with resolving data queries

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 year experience
    • Minimum of Master’s Degree in a clinically-focused program
    • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with adult psychiatric trials; at least 1 year in an inpatient psychiatric setting with acute patients diagnosed with severe mental illness
    • A minimum of 2 years experience administering psychiatric symptom rating scales and structured diagnostic interviews as part of clinical trials and/or research protocols
    • Knowledge of GCP guidelines
    • HIGHLY PREFERRED SPANISH BILINGUAL
    • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures including electronic medical records and billing preferred.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Requires excellent written and oral communications, presentation and computer/pc skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software.
    • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
    • Knowledge of research protocols, principles and procedures; knowledge of aspects of clinical trials such as screening, interviewing, case report forms; knowledge of experimental design, mathematics, statistics, computerized information retrieval systems, and computer data management; ability to identify, produce, organized, evaluate and interpret data; knowledge of ethics and regulatory procedures (e.g., informed consent process, data safety and monitoring plans, principles of data collection and documentation) involved with clinical trials and other clinical research; ability to work as a member of a project team; knowledge of clinical tasks required for research (e.g., phlebotomy, centrifugation, aliquoting blood, interviewing).

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
