Clinical Research Manager manages the clinical monitoring process and the administration of clinical trials. Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Being a Clinical Research Manager oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations. Helps with the development and implementation of clinical processes, procedures, and programs. Additionally, Clinical Research Manager may require a master's degree in nursing. May require ACRP or SOCRA Clinical Research Professional exam completion. Typically reports to a director. The Clinical Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Research Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented LPN who is willing to train to administer medication under the management of TMA's Site Leader. This is a full time position and will be conducting clinical research for the Myrtle Beach, S.C., office.

    Job Summary

    As the Clinical Research Pharmacy Nurse Lead, you will:

    • Interpret the correct study medication to withdraw from inventory;
    • Validate, prepare, revalidate, confirm the right study patient;
    • Administer and oversee patient's response to the study medication and document the administration of the investigational study medication per the study protocol requirements.
    • Keep an accurate inventory of study medication for accountability purposes.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist in sterile, bench-level preparation of various products in support of numerous clinical studies
    • Confirm dosing assignments, subject level-data, and dose preparation of various products
    • Safely administer product to patients, including via intramuscular injection, oral tablet, and other delivery methods as needed
    • Review and create worksheets and data pertaining to individual subjects in a clinical study
    • Receive shipments from clinical partners to ensure the proper receipt, storage, and handling of investigational products
    • Coordinate with others within the clinic space while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality at all times
    • Maintain and build good relationships with other clinical partners and stakeholders throughout the duration of multiple clinical studies
    • Utilize creative thinking to solve problems and respond in real-time to any opportunities that may arise

    Requirements-

    • Licensed LPN (South Carolina)
    • (2) years experience in a health or research environment to allow familiarity with basic medical and/or research terminology
    • BLS training including CPR or ACLS, and/or capable of responding to unexpected reactions in a timely manner
    • Detail-oriented person with the ability to collect, compile, and analyze information
    • Ability to understand and communicate research protocol requirements to others
    • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and manage time effectively
    • Software familiarity
    • Medical terminology
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Dependable and goal oriented team player
