Reporting to the Director of Clinical Research, the Clinical Research Business Finance Manager will have responsibilities to ensure accuracy across all areas of clinical research study budgeting and finances, including, financial feasibility, budget development, billing, reimbursements, and accruals.
The Business and Finance Manager for Clinical Research will perform duties in financial contract management as well as some accounting responsibilities for active studies. The Business Programs Manager for Clinical Research will work collaboratively with cross functional groups (e.g., Legal, Finance, Hospital Billing, system owners, and Clinical Operations to ensure proactive communication is used to identify potential issues and/or inconsistencies and take corrective action as appropriate.

The ideal candidate for Clinical Research Business Finance Manager should have BA/BS with 5 plus year’s experience in Clinical Research Operations with contracting, budgeting, accounting and financial responsibilities. Paralegal or Master's preferred with knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and FDA regulations. Knowledge of billing compliance requirement and familiarity with Medicare and other government guidelines for patient billing a plus. Working knowledge of clinical trial process, medical coding, and hospital reimbursement.
