Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Being a Clinical Research Manager oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations. Helps with the development and implementation of clinical processes, procedures, and programs. Additionally, Clinical Research Manager may require a master's degree in nursing. May require ACRP or SOCRA Clinical Research Professional exam completion. Typically reports to a director. Ideal candidate will: Have a high level of experience dealing with DoD/Government type contracts in the support of Purchase(s). Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of procurement, buyer(s), and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, technologies, and services.
The successful candidate will perform and lead professional assignments that require in-depth knowledge and application to identify, manage and issue RFQ's, purchase request, conduct regular price comparisons/ analysis to ensure that the company is receiving best price for each materials/service/technology for all indirect/direct purchases.
Conduct market research, source new vendors for competitive pricing, negotiate pricing terms/conditions for blanket agreements and sole source purchases. Maintain and optimize vendor relationships, inventory supply, source generate RFQ's. Generate reports, audits, and quality assurance in accordance with company procedures and related commercial, GSA schedule/ FAR regulations.
