Clinical Research Manager manages the clinical monitoring process and the administration of clinical trials. Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Being a Clinical Research Manager oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations. Helps with the development and implementation of clinical processes, procedures, and programs. Additionally, Clinical Research Manager may require a master's degree in nursing. May require ACRP or SOCRA Clinical Research Professional exam completion. Typically reports to a director. The Clinical Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Research Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Working in close collaboration with and reporting directly to the Inpatient Pharmacy Services Director, the Pharmacy Manager will become responsible for oversight and management of the inpatient pharmacy department with a total of 30 FTEs across all shifts.

As this department is a 24/7 operation, the Pharmacy Operations Manager will play an integral role in coordinating and scheduling all employees, along with maintaining personal and staff accountability for the schedule.
The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager will be a multitasker, working alongside a strong pharmacy services team while also managing a number of operational components including hiring, payroll, time off, and employee evaluations. This role will also become responsible for reviewing and finessing the pharmacy onboarding and employee orientation experience, creating a streamlined process for new pharmacy employees including pharmacists and techs.
Requirements for this role will include: Bachelor’s Degree - PharmD Degree - Previous leadership experience - Hospital-based pharmacy experience - MBA Degree would be an asset - Ability to foster and build relationships with a team
