This position will be supporting the Program manager and be responsible for the overall planning, direction and success of engineering, logistics, programmatic, and technical service initiatives under several MRC contracts that directly support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI.
Projects are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks.
Responsible for working with the Program Manager for the overall planning and operational control, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans.
This includes the responsibility for customer relations and satisfaction, monthly financial and progress reporting, and program profit and loss.
Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs.
Education:
Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
Experience:
8 years professional experience in program/project management.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
Knowledge of material logistics, project planning, and technical skills (electrical/ mechanical) highly useful.
Must be able to meet customer facility COVID requirements.

Experience:
Prior experience managing similar programs for the U.S. Navy or other Department of Defense organization. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
