Clinical Research Manager jobs in Pensacola, FL

This position will be responsible for the overall planning, direction and success of engineering, logistics, programmatic, and technical service initiatives under MRC contracts that directly support the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City, FL.

Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks.

Responsible for the overall planning and operational control, organization, and direction of short and long range plans.

This includes the responsibility for customer relations and satisfaction, monthly financial and progress reporting, and program profit and loss.

Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs.

5 years experience maintaining, planning and managing projects and project, personnel, providing direction and technical oversight generating and reviewing program schedules and program documents, and attending and conducting program reviews.

Education:
Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.

Experience:
5- 8 years professional experience in program/project management. DOD experience on programs with a high level of complexity.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
Knowledge of material logistics, project planning, and technical skills (electrical/ mechanical) highly useful.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:
Prior experience managing similar programs for the U.S. Navy or other Department of Defense organization. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
