Clinical Research Manager manages the clinical monitoring process and the administration of clinical trials. Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Being a Clinical Research Manager oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations. Helps with the development and implementation of clinical processes, procedures, and programs. Additionally, Clinical Research Manager may require a master's degree in nursing. May require ACRP or SOCRA Clinical Research Professional exam completion. Typically reports to a director. The Clinical Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Conducting research and patient visits with Principal Investigator with no high patient volume, weekdays, 7:30 - 4:00 p.m.
-Preparing and updating patient charts.
-Reporting research results and/or transmit research data per instruction.
-Utilizing medical devices such as ECG and blood pressure monitor.
-Process and prepare lab samples for shipment.
-Will have opportunity to advance to Senior Coordinator, attend national coordinator meetings, and receive certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC).
Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time
Salary: $30.00 /hour, negotiable and depending on experience, with 6 and 12 month performance based increases, plus generous year-end bonus, and seventeen days of PTO plus nine paid holidays.
