The Director of Dietary Services will directly report to the Chief Operations Officer, and work closely with the Chief Nursing Office and Chief Financial Officer. This person will be supported by a team of experienced Nutritionists and a tenured team of nurses to ensure and establish the best plan of care for their patients dietary requirements.
The Director of Dietary Services is expected to have knowledge on the principles and practices. This Registered Dietician will act as a role model, initiator in problem-solving, decision-making processes, delegating, and communicating information to the nursing staff. The Dietary Director will develop clear performance expectations and resolve performance problems. In addition to these aspects, the Director will also help develop and maintain the departmental budget, as well as regulatory compliance.
