The Director of Cardiovascular Services will be responsible for acute care case manager management activities, insurance reviews, transfers, strong knowledge base of DRGs and appropriate admission status. They will also demonstrate leadership skills, problem solving
skills, and collaborative skills to work with other healthcare teams, including utilization management activities and promotion of high-quality cost-effective care in a collaborative manner.
The Director of Cardiovascular Services will evaluate admissions and hospital’s resource utilization for appropriateness and timeliness. They will also collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to assess or coordinate patient and education needs. The Director of Cardiovascular Services will complete all insurance reviews, coordinates multidisciplinary team meetings, and participates in core measure compliance.
