Summary:Directs perioperative activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare, or relevant field.
• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum Experience: 5 years of relevant experience. Preferred: 3 years of strategic leadership experience.

The pay range for this position is: $63.32 - $101.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
