This 100 Bed Hospital has built a strong reputation in the San Francisco Area for excellent patient care and outstanding services. The Nurse Director Surgical Services will join a facility that offers a full range of services including Surgery, Emergency, Cardiovascular, Intensive Care, Labor and Delivery, and more. This Medical Center has been a staple of the community for many years, and the incoming Nurse Director Surgical Services will play a large role in keeping it that way.
The Nurse Director Surgical Services reports to the Administrative Director Perioperative Services and is supported by the Managers and Supervisors of the OR PreOp PACU. The Nurse Director leads the day to day operations and takes oversight of budgetary maintenance for the Operating Room, PreOp PACU, Ambulatory Surgery, SPD, and Anesthesia. This person ensures that quality care is provided and that services are compliant with federal and state regulations.
The Nurse Director Surgical Services will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Administrative Director Perioperative Services and other healthcare leaders for staff education, quality improvement, infection control, and risk management. This person will serve the Surgical Services Managers/Supervisors and Staff by empowering them to excel in clinical excellence, patient advocacy, and patient safety.
