Reporting to the Service Line Director, the Nurse Manager Emergency Department will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the newly renovated and expanded emergency center. This department is designated as a Level III Trauma Center and treats more than 800 trauma cases each year in addition to thousands of emergency patients. The Nurse Manager has oversight of department staffing, participates in recruitment, monitors and evaluates staff performance, develops training plans, implements departmental policies and procedures, works to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, manages department budgets, and participates in various hospital committees.
