    : Community Relations Director

    : Supervised by: General Manager

    The successful Community Relations Director builds relationships with referral sources via presentations, face to face contacts, phone calls, meetings, or other ways decided by the employee for the purpose of increasing Company revenue through direct client referrals.

    Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

    1. Independently seeks out and develops relationships with sources that can directly refer clients to the Company.

    2. Conducts an average of 35 visits per week – mix of medical and non-medical / new and follow up calls.

    3. Exercising discretion and independent judgment, develops a networking plan and actively uses it as a working tool, which is regularly updated as needed.

    4. Visits existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships.

    5. Updates prospects, clients, and referral sources database for contact/and or mailing lists.

    6. Tracks Networking efforts and reviews them with supervisor on a weekly basis.

    7. Participates in Networking groups, especially as they relate to the senior population.

    8. May perform initial evaluation of services for potential clients.

    :

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    ▪ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to two (2) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    ▪ Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite and scheduling software required

    ▪ Working knowledge of basic medical terminology required

    CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, & REGISTRATION

    ▪ Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain valid auto insurance

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    ▪ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

    ▪ Ability to write simple correspondence.

    ▪ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    REASONING ABILITIES

    ▪ Exercising discretion and independent judgment applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

    ▪ Exercising discretion and independent judgment to address/resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

    ▪ Exercising discretion and independent judgment to discern when to escalate client situations, such as calling Supervisor or 911

    :

    Travels throughout the territory to various offices and facilities, with some time spent in FirstLight HomeCare office.

    :

    Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:

    · Ability to participate in physical activity.

    · Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.

    · Heavy lifting.

    · Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
