Contractual Clinical Psychologist

The Clinical Psychologist will contract with The Autism Clinic at Hope to provide on-site comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Clinical Psychologist Essential Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations that include administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2^nd Edition, clinical interview with caregivers, and assessment of cognitive and adaptive functioning.
• Write diagnostic reports and review findings and recommendations with families.
• Collaborate with clinicians, therapists, and other specialists at Hope Autism Clinic.
• Provide consultation and counseling services as needed.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, practice in accordance with APA ethical standards, and adheres to all policies and procedures at The Autism Clinic at Hope.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. from an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology or School Psychology program.
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois.
• Eligible for enrollment with insurance companies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or developmental disabilities.
• Expertise in the administration and interpretation of psychological evaluations, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2^nd Edition.
