RN Clinical Supervisor (Private Duty)

Description:

• Ensures the quality and safe delivery of skilled and non-skilled home health services.
• Performs client care when necessary.
• Coordinates clinical services assuring compliance with standards of care, Agency policies/procedures and external regulations.
• Communicates and records client and agency information with staff.
• Coordinates case conferences, in-services and staff meetings.
• Represents the Agency in the community. Provides supervision of all nursing staff, therapy staff and home health aides/caregivers/direct care workers and reports to the Director.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse eligible to practice in the State of Michigan.
• Preferred minimum of one-year experience in a Private Duty home health agency, supervisory experience desired.
• Demonstrated knowledge of home health nursing and caregiving.
• Willing and able to meet the agency need for professional nursing services.
• Positive, professional interpersonal skills.
• Meets CEU requirements for licensure

Essential Job Functions and Physical Requirements:

• Able to interact successfully with members of the medical/health profession.
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with superiors, physicians, field staff, office personnel, field staff, clients/families and other business professionals.
• Must be able to operate an automobile.
• Possesses excellent customer relation skills.
• Able to move, transport up to 150 pounds infrequently using assistive techniques and devices appropriate to manage the task.
• Must be able to complete multi-tasks and meet multi-deadlines.
• Able to work in a challenging environment.
• Able to report for work on a regularly scheduled basis. Typical M-F 8am -5pm schedule. Some flexibility.
• Has effective time management and excellent organizational skills.
• Has access to personal transportation.
• Able to use a telephone, see and hear sufficiently without the use of extraordinary assistive devices.
• Must be able to successfully provide effective team support for both office and field staff.
• Computer and Electronic Skills required.

Salary Range:

$65,000.00 to $75,000.00 (depending on experience)
