Overview

This is a remote position listed interally as an Applications Systems Analyst. This will support our office of Research Operations.

Performs functions to assist in the development and implementation of Office of Research data systems, the revision of existing systems, providing project management for assigned special projects. Provides and coordinates research resources for all applications.

Responsibilities

• Functions as liaison with IS and maintains project tracking information and ticket management.
• Familiarity with Huron and Advarra based research systems and reporting.
• Manage module releases, upgrades, and patches, including researching functionality.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of research and research applications, as well as the operational details and work flows.
• Provides support with new or upgraded vendor, in-house computing systems and special projects.
• Serve as project manager for special projects within the office of research and its research systems.
• Maintain and review intranet website for the office of research, working with various teams to ensure updated information.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject matter with 5 years of relevant work experience or the equivalent required.
• Organizational and leadership skills are essential.
• Project management skills, programming skills, and extensive knowledge of microcomputers desired.
