Overview:

We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team in the support of the California Department of Food and Agriculture's (CDFA) initiative to replace a legacy system for the Animal Health and Food Safety Services Division (AHFSS) with a Salesforce SaaS solution.

Tasks:

The Salesforce Business Analyst will:

• Translate what the CDFA business needs and how to get this accomplished within the Salesforce solution by asking why and how CDFA stakeholders do their key business processes.
• Gather and/or confirm business needs to prepare User stories.
• Produce "to-be" process maps, and document detail reason why something was implemented.
• Perform a gap analysis.
• Prepare user acceptance test plans.
• Participate in stakeholder communication.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last 7 years as a Salesforce Business Analyst on a Salesforce implementation project.

Desirable Skills:

• Must be a Certified Business Analyst Professional in active standing from either the Project Management Institute (PMI) or International Institute of Business Analyst (IIBA).
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst on a Salesforce implementation project.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last three (3) years implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years of technology Implementation project experience for the State of California.
