Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Systems Analyst, Data Analytics
Primary Location: Sarasota, Florida
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Systems Analyst, Data Analytics for our premier client in Sarasota, Florida.
Education and Experience- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming/Engineering, MIS, or related field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Analyst and/or Data Modeler role to be considered; to include experience with documenting functional and analytic requirements, functional specifications, use cases/stories, data models, data lineage and data flows.
- Experience with data modeling, data cleansing and database design is a must.
- Strong understanding of data streaming technologies, data aggregation techniques and data wrangling is a significant plus.
- Requires strong technical skills, including knowledge of systems architecture, databases, networking and programming languages.
- Experience within an Agile centric construct is mandatory (Agile Certifications such as Kanban or Scrum Master are a plus).
- Experience with application performance testing (particularly data streaming performance) is a plus
- Possesses an understanding and solid capabilities in Data Governance and Data Quality management is required.
- Experience with Data Analytics technologies (i.e. Tableau or equivalent) is required.
- Solid working knowledge if SQL (specifically on Oracle dbs) is required.
- Knowledge of data streaming technologies is a plus.
- Working knowledge of any of the following languages is a plus.
- Java
- R
- Python
- Apache Kafka (or equivalent)
- Apache Flink (or equivalent)
- Clickhouse dB (or equivalent columnar db)
- Experience with Atlassian project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a significant plus
- Hands on experience and proficiency with the full Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, SmartDraw.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Ability to articulate business and technology needs/constraints to IT members and end users alike.
- Self starter/motivator and having a proactive and strategic mindset are a must.
- Ability to work flexibly on multiple projects and concurrently manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively on assignments and deliver results through problem identification, analysis and resolution with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates strong oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with business partners and internal team members.
- Demonstrates strong written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear and concise recommendations, business requirements and/or functional specifications, use cases and user stories.
- Facilitates large-scale meetings with all levels of the company, clearly articulating objectives and identified next steps.
- Communicates technical concepts and issues to non-technical people.
- Interacts with all levels of the company with patience, courtesy, diplomacy and professionalism.
