Cloud Systems Architect is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Architect develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Architect monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.   • JSA Architects is seeking a Project Architect, experienced in commercial, educational, institutional or healthcare building types. The applicant must have the ability to manage and coordinate all phases of a project. Additional roles may include design, architectural intern development, firm marketing and client management. Positions are available in our Odessa, Lubbock and Kerrville office locations. Must have a team oriented outlook, with the desire to learn new design & construction methods and project types. JSA may consider remote work arrangements outside our primary markets for the right candidate.

    General Skills and Requirements

    • Work well with team members of various experience levels
    • Develop construction documents and oversee development by others
    • Proficiency in building component detailing and construction feasibility
    • Produce project specifications, probable cost estimates, and overall project schedules
    • Manage various projects through all phases of Architectural Process
    • Accredited professional degree in architecture
    • Minimum 5 years experience as a licensed architect
    • Licensed to practice architecture in Texas
    • Revit proficiency is a plus

    Salary and benefits are competitive and negotiable.

    Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
