Cloud Systems Architect is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Architect develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Architect monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. The Systems Administrator is expected to work well in a team-oriented environment, and be committed to following IT policies, procedures, and practices. Overall the IT Systems Administrator strives to increase support available to medical office practice users and decreases the amount of support required from outside vendors with an end goal of increasing overall system availability and user satisfaction to the user base. IT Systems Administrator must be willing to work during any emergency situation, this includes if needed during inclement weather, mass casualty, internal disaster, etc. The IT Desktop Administrator will complete other projects and duties as assigned.
